Classification Without Surveillance

When you save hundreds of articles, filing them into folders by hand is tedious. Clipfile suggests the right folder automatically — without ever reading your article text.

🔒 Metadata-Only Evaluation

To pick a folder, Clipfile sends an article's title and web address, with the names of your existing folders, to Google's Gemini. That is all it sends: the article's text, anything behind a paywall, and your notes never leave for classification.

📁 Adaptive Folder Matching

An article goes into one of the folders you already have (such as Elections, National Security or Supreme Court) whenever one reasonably fits. Only when nothing does is a new folder proposed, with a short, general name.

✏️ Full Manual Control

A folder is a suggestion, not a verdict. Move any article to another folder whenever you like.
